I watched the exhibition "Kimono in the Taisho and Showa Era" at BUNKA Gakuen Costume Museum in Shinjuku.



In Taisho Era(1912～1926) and Showa Era(1926～1989), Japanese people's life has changed greatly.
Because they adopted Western culture and the new techniques.
And not only the high income, but also the average citizen could buy beautiful Kimono.



I enjoyed watching many Kimono important in history.
Tomorrow(2/16) is the final day of this exhibition.
