The day has finally come! We are very excited to reveal the winners of the annual TourRadar Awards for 2015.

TourRadar began hosting our annual awards in order to celebrate and recognise the very best guides and tours in the industry, according to travellers feedback. First launched in 2012, the feedback is accumulated throughout each year, with real travellers encouraged to provide reviews for their tours and their guides. We then normalize the reviews to allow for differences in frequency, length, size and other differing factors to find our annual winners.

The 2015 Guide of the Year

The Guide of the Year Award is determined by the dedication and enthusiasm that the guide provides, to make every traveller’s experience an incredible one. Throughout the year, thousands of travellers were asked to submit their stories by way of a review on TourRadar. We collected and assessed these stories to find our winner. The winner of the award receives over €10,000 in prizes including a €5,000 donation to the charity of their choice.

The 2015 Tour of the Year

A first of its kind, this award is designed to recognise the best group tours based purely on travellers’ experiences. By collecting traveller reviews throughout the year in the form of stories and photographs, we find the best tours in the business. It’s a highly sought after award, and we’ve now expanded it out to find the best tours on each continent as well as within each tour style. The big one of course, is the the overall 2015 Tour of the Year.
