Con Dao National Park’s Old Trees Seek National Heritage Recognition

The management board of the Con Dao National Park in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau has sent a dossier to the Viet Nam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE), asking for the recognition of its three ancient trees as Viet Nam heritage trees. The trees include two “Nhoi” (Bischofia javanica) trees and one “Coc do” (Lumnitzra littorea) Tree. The board said that
