Marrakesh is a must visit destination in Morocco. Visit the Palace Djemaa El Fna, a famous historic site in the city, and the Koutoubia Mosque which is located nearby. Other places of interest for Halal travelers in Marrakesh include the Saadian Tombs, Dar Si Said Museum and the Museum of Islamic Art.

Fes was the ancient capital of Morocco, and is now deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also a must-visit location for those interested in seeing the ‘real’ Morocco with beautiful handicraft shops and winding alleyways and is also home to the world’s oldest university – University of al-Qarawiyyin. Museums worth visiting here include the Nejarine Museum for wooden arts and crafts, Dar Batha Museum and Beldhazi Museum.
