Jama Masjid leaves an impact on visitor’s mind about ancient Indian culture as well as the Mughal era. This grand mosque was built in 17th sanctuary by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan who was the fifth Mughal emperor in their dynasty. It is so gigantic in space that it can hold thousands of people at a time for prayers. What I hear is, it has a capacity of holding upto 25,000 people. Isn’t that amazing? During the time when there are no prayers you will see tones of travelers / back packers taking a tour of this great mosque.

I was astonished by seeing tourists from all across the globe visiting this great heritage mosque. Why I say this? While taking a walk inside the mosque I saw guides explaining the details about Jama Masjid in various languages like Japanese, English, French, Italian, Chinese etc. So the visitors could be given details about its origin as well as its history in their native language. I felt really nice by seeing that sight.
