Jackson Hole Ski Trip and Teton Club Review

I have always wanted to ski Jackson Hole for its reputation as one of the most advanced mountains in the United States.

I naturally first looked at booking the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole. Since we are a family of 5, we would need two hotel rooms at the Four Seasons. The price per night at the Four Seasons was $1,000 per hotel room. The Four Seasons also has condos, and the 2 bedroom was a shocking $4500 per night.

I just couldn’t stomach the Four Seasons rates so I started to look for other ski in ski out accommodations in Jackson Hole.

Let me tell you, there isn’t much to choose from! There are a few hotels in Teton Village that are Ski in and Walk Out such as the Hotel Terra. Other than the Four Seasons, the Teton Club was the only other hotel that offered a true Ski in Ski out location.

However, its important to note that Skiing out from the Teton Club puts you on the Jackson Hole Tram. If you don’t already know, the average Joe isn’t going to be skiing the slopes accessed by the Tram. The slopes are for experts only.

Anyway, the Teton Club is Ski in and Walk out for most people.

In this respect, the Four Seasons really does have the winning location.

However, the 3 minute walk to the lifts in the morning saved me $3620 a night. The Teton Club 2 bedroom condo cost $880 a night versus $4500 a night charged by the Four Seasons.

I was very pleased with the Teton Club condo itself.

This was the view from our Teton Club condo #308.

The Teton Club also has some very nice hot tubs right on the slopes.

The interior of the Teton Club condo was on par with 5 star accommodations, and they offered daily housekeeping.

They also had a common area with free hot chocolate and a small bar.

With all that being said, I will be staying at the Four Seasons when I win the lottery
