This morning I noticed a new Amex offer on my account, offering 4,500 membership rewards points for spending $3,000 in one or more transactions, up to 3 times, for a maximum of 13,000 bonus points through September 29, 2017.

This works out to a cool 2.5 Amex points per dollar spent on your next $9,000 of spending, no strings attached. That means if you spend $9,000 on this card before September 29th, you get a total of 22,500 points, including the points earned for the actual spending. This is a fantastic offer that doesn’t require jumping through any hoops and I plan to maximize its value for any non-bonus spending. Make sure you actually add the offer to your card if you’re Targeted.

Check all your Amex cards to see if you have been targeted. I was only targeted on my Amex personal Platinum card, and my wife wasn’t targeted at all. Your offer terms or amounts may vary.
