Nimbin You Made Me Feel Safe

I arrived late Friday afternoon to Nimbin for the Nimbin Roots Festival 2019. After working out where to get the tickets from – the Town Hall – and working out where the Nimbin Showgrounds was located – I was keen to walk the streets of Nimbin and discover all that was on offer.

Nimbin You Made Me Feel Safe – even as a Solo Traveler who traveled from Brisbane to Nimbin in a Spaceship Campervan – I felt so safe. Even walking up and down from the Showgrounds to each event at night time. I felt like I could easily walk anywhere and not have to worry about my safety.

The Friday night – OH MY GOSH – there was a live band in the streets with the drums. The beat. I can’t explain how deep that beat went. Its like it was reaching every cells inside and healing it one by one.

The talent of all these drummers! Something out of this world. The best beat to dance to. . . #nimbinfestival #nimbin #druming #nimbinrootsfestival #dancing #beat #drums

The way everyone got out their own instruments and played so well together. It wasn’t even an paid event – it was a free event on the main street.

If my migraine wasn’t so bad I would have danced, but I was enjoying the drums – and eventually the Essential oils that I purchased from Happy High Herbs kicked in and I started to feel so much better.

NIMBIN TOWN HALL – WHERE YOU GET YOUR NIMBIN ROOTS FESTIVAL WRIST BAND FROM!

I am really keen to get back down to Nimbin as its the start of my healing journey. The people – the place – the vibes – the feel of each shop – every time I walked from one place to another I felt like I was so welcomed and felt so incredibly grateful for being there.

I also didn’t take enough pictures of each shop in Nimbin. I was walking around the town so much and taking in the vibes to heal my soul that I forgot to get my camera out of its bag – so when I do go back I will be taking a lot more photos!

My Passion In Life

My passion in Life is photographs. I love to take photos – Blogging is my passion in life. I love everything about blogging. Its like my online diary. I do have a lot going on inside at the moment {thanks premenopausal} and I cant put into words all that I am feeling, but would love to get it all out somehow.

I would love to write freely about the inner soul journey that I am experiencing. But then again who would want to hear that deep shit?

Now if only I could turn my passion into a full time job online! I am working towards moving our blog into a business – one where David and I have this crazy idea!

He wants to sail his little trailer sailing boat while I drive our campervan around from location to location. We even sorted out who gets which dog. Beauty would stay with me, while Coco will go with David. I have never ever seen dog so wrapped up in a person like Coco is with Dave!

Nimbin You Made Me Feel So Safe

NIMBIN EMBASSAY
HAPPY HIGH HERBS – THE SHOW OWNER WAS SO SUPER NICE – SHE HELPED WITH ESSENTIAL OILS TO EASE MY MIGRAINE
NIMBIN BUSH THEATRE – WHEERE THE CANDLE FACTORY IS LOCATED DOWNSTAIRS OUT THE BACK
TOURIST SHOPS – NIMBIN HAS SO MANY AMAZING STORES
LOVED THE STREET ART – ITS NOT CRIMINAL – ITS A HERB
LOVE EVERY BUILDING IN NIMBIN

WHEN WILL I RETURN TO NIMBIN?

I so could easily move there! I would love to live and heal there. Yet there is heaps of Massage therapist already working in the town so there isn’t room for another massage therapist.

We will be going back soon – we want to take Kyle to see the incredible Candle Making Store that is at the Bush Theatre. And he would love every shop in the main street and hopefully the drumming band is playing again.

Now that I know that I can travel, live and survive by myself with traveling solo, I am looking forward to seeing what other trips I can escape/explore on.

Do You Take Solo Trips?

Cheers

Lisa
