DAVE was indeed the best Gourmet surprise during our last trip to Paris. And being 100% honest, this time, I must give full credit to Rubin Singer for this discovery. A hole in the wall off Rue Richelieu, which will surprise you once inside. One of this unique restaurants, which move from mouth to mouth, due to their friendly professional service, lead by Dave himself. No menus or set prices, just have a brief chat with Dave, tell him what you like and dislike, mention any allergies or restrictions, and you are set for a lovely and true Chinese/Vietnamese gourmet experience, dish after dish after dish. Low lights, cozy trendy semiformal environment. Spend hours like me just looking at the thousands of crocked photos pinned to the wall, featuring celebrities, mandatories and fashion people that have passed by this charming yet intriguing restaurant.
