Kondeshwar Temple


Kondeshwar temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is an ancient elephant temple located in the middle of a dense forest. This temple represents ancient Hemadpanthi style of architecture and is constructed using black stones. The main sanctum sanctorum is surrounded by several shrines. Mahashivratri is one of the main festivals celebrated in this temple. As the temple is located on a rocky terrain, it is advisable not to visit the shrine during the monsoon season. Shri Khateshwar Maharaj Samadhi, a pond and a waterfall are located in the vicinity of this temple.

How To go ?
Reach badlapur station (E)  hire auto.

When to go?
Monsoon, it’s the best time of the year.
Where to stay?
There is a Bhoj Resort near to konndeshwar Temple .
