There are several ways to dye Eggs Naturally. One method we’re covering today requires you to boil eggs along with natural ingredients (mainly vegetables), to successfully transfer the dye onto your eggshells. The other method is one you’re probably more familiar with, which involves boiling your eggs separately before submerging them in the dyeing solution. When using natural dyes, different hues require different dyeing methods. Follow these instructions below to dye beautiful eggs naturally.

Instructions:

For gold eggs: 3 tablespoons of turmeric
For purple eggs: 1 ½ cups shredded beets
For green eggs: 2 cups spinach

Boil 2 cups of water on the stove.
Add whatever dyeing agent you’ll be using.
Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes minimum (longer for deeper color)
Next, pour the dye into a jar and allow it to cool for a few hours. Add two tablespoons of white vinegar, and finally add your eggs to the jars, 3 at a time.
Seal the jar and let egg sit in solution until it has reached the deep color your desire.

Pre-Boiled Eggs: Pre-boil your eggs for pinks and pale blues. Feel free to use the 5-5-5 Instant Pot method for this part.
