Monterosso Beach in Cinque Terre, Italy

Today’s travel photo is of the Beach in Monterosso, in the beautiful Cinque Terre, Italy. Monterosso is the largest of the five villages that make up the Cinque Terre, and also has the largest beach. The old town has a small sandy beach, while around the corner in the newer part of Monterosso, there is a long pebbly beach that sits opposite the train station and strip of hotels and restaurants. After a day of exploring the other villages of the Cinque Terre, I hopped off the train and made my way down to the beach to soak my tired feet in the refreshing water. It was shoulder season when I was there so there was lots of space on the beach to relax in the warm Mediterranean sun and dip my feet in the crystal clear water. I don’t think I could ever get tired of this place.
