Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), the largest owner of resort hotels in Southern Europe owned by funds managed by Blackstone; Domes Resorts management and Hilton announce Domes Aulūs Elounda will join the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio in May 2023 following an extensive renovation.

HIP has invested more than €6.8 million in order to upgrade and transform the property as an upper upscale adult-only all-inclusive Domes Aulūs resort under Curio Collection by Hilton. The renovation has resulted in the property offering fresh, new accommodation for guests in Elounda Crete.

The refurbishment will see the full renovation of all the restaurants and bars, 123 bungalows and the construction of 18 new suites. The common areas, new market areas, dining deck and retail spaces will also be redeveloped. The gym is being enlarged and a new wellness and wellbeing centre is being introduced.

The property welcomed guests on May 25th, 2023.

The refurbishment plan was supported by Alpha Bank which provided the financing for the execution of the capital expenditure.
