Glasgow Hotel Group go into Adminastration



Sad day for the Mckever Group

It is with sad news to report that the Mckever Hotel Group has gone into administration with estimated debts of £100,000,000. The firm based in Glasgow is another victim of the credit crunch. The group formed in 1982 and employee more than 550 people in 20 hostels, apartments and hotels across in the north of England and across Scotland.


The group has said to be deeply concerned at the deep impact it may well have on homeless residents who depend on their flats and hostels in the Glasgow area and beyond.    
Circulating news states that the Glasgow Hotel Group may still be able to remain operative but the future of the hostels is in serious doubt. 

The administrators are running the business whilst they exuast every avenue to keep the business running. The website is still operational and taken bookings.
