Celebrate your First Lady at Vineyard Hotel this Mother’s Day
It’s not too late to become your mother’s favourite child. Book a table in the beautiful surrounds of the Vineyard Hotel and indulge together in a three course meal, each dish perfectly paired with Warwick Wine Estate wines.
The lunch, in partnership with Warwick Wine Estate – one of the Vineyard’s five wine partners –is the ideal way to celebrate your mother, either surrounded by family, or just the two of you. Not only will she feel utterly spoilt, but she will also get to take away a complimentary bottle of Warwick’s First Lady Roséand a box of Lindt chocolate.
Head Chef, Carl Van Rooyen, has put together a lunch menu at the Square that’s fit for your ‘first lady’. To start there is a choice between chili, lime and prawn pot with orange, fennel and spring onion salad, or haddock fishcakes and a salad of watercress, parmesan and lemon.
For the main course it will be a hard choice between Malay spiced pork belly with roasted capsicums, caramelised onions and apple cider jus, or a delicious baked line fish with a smoked tomato, spinach and pomegranate salad and basil butter sauce.
Rounding off the afternoon on a sweet note, indulge in one of two delectable desserts – lemon verbena custard tart with raspberry sorbet or white chocolate cremeux with vanilla roasted plums and thyme ice cream.
The Vineyard’s three-course Mother’s Day lunch on 08 May 2016 at 12:30pm is priced at R355 per person. Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
