1 . Queen Victoria Building – One of the most notable landmark around the city, this 19th century building is located in the Central Business District (CBD) of Sydney. Most tourists meet here to start the walking tour around Sydney.

2. Sydney Tower Eye – The tallest observation tower of Sydney can be found along the Central Business District. It is a member of World Federation of Great Towers. The top of the tower is occupied by 360 Bar and Dining which offers a revolving view of Sydney’s skyline.

3. Sydney GPO Clock Tower – The General Post Office Building in St.Martin Place, Sydney is now occupied by The Westin Sydney, Australia Post and Macquarie Bank among a number of restaurants and bars.

4. Youngster sculpture by Caroline Rothwell – A bronze sculpture of a young boy in hoodie and baggie jeans located at the former Commercial Bank Company of Sydney, awarded as state heritage building, now occupied by Burberry.

5. The Sydney Hospital – The oldest hospital in Australia dating back to 1788. It was home to the first nursing school in Australia, founded in 1868 by Lucy Osburn.

6. Sydney Monorail – Sydney’s single loop monorail was in operation from 1988 to 2013. It serviced Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Sydney’s CBD and shopping districts.

7. Sydney Opera House – The icon of Australia is one of the 20th century most famous and distinctive buildings.The building compose of multiple performance venues and is a Unesco World Heritage site since 2007.

8. State Library of New South Wales – the oldest library of Australia dating 1826 and is open to the public.

9. Royal Botanic Garden Sydney – is one of the most historic botanic garden in the world dating back to 1816. The entrance is free and this 30 hectares of land offers a scenic view of the Sydney Harbour.

10. Luna Park – is an amusement park located at the base of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

11. Sydney Harbour Bridge –  It is the iconic image of Australia and the tallest steel arch bridge in the world, located across the Sydney Harbour.

12. Metcalfe Building – is an early 20th century landmark that gives a significant townscape vibes at The Rocks. The fusion of philosophy and heritage maintains the modern atmosphere of  this converted old warehouse to shops and offices.

13. Australian Steamship Navigation Company Building (ASNC) – This rare Anglo-Dutch style, fine victorian warehouse and office building is a State heritage site constructed between 1884 and 1885 located on the corner of Hickson Road and George Street at The Rocks.

14. Museum of Contemporary Art Australia – Located in Circular Quay, the museum sits in an art deco-style former Maritime Services Board Building exhibiting and collecting contemporary art, both from across Australia and around the world.

15. Street artists – With immense number of creative talents around Sydney, you can catch a great display of visual treats. From buskers to murals to live painting.
