How I know about this Restoran Itik Salai Aisyah Kepong?

This is a long story as it started off with a car accident at ELITE Highway last year. To cut the story short, you can watch the video below.

My car hit a metal object and as you can see from the video, there are many cars were involved. A random stranger, asked about my tyre condition. My car didn’t have a spare tyre so I asked him to lend me one.

The stranger name is Mr. Ramadan and he has a few stalls in Kepong. Not just he lend his tyre but he also helped me to change it. I offer to pay him but he declined and so I told him, I will come to his stall.

However, he told me that he will be opening a new restaurant and it is called Restoran Itik Salai Aisyah in Kepong. Weeks after, I manage to visit his restaurant at Kepong.

It is a simple and humble restaurant and there are quite a lot of offering in terms of dishes. I went there late, after lunch and the restaurant opens until dinner time.

I seldom review Malay food as I am not a spicy food lover but the food here is really tasty. The itik salai is smoky and flavorful and the Kerabu is delicious.

The ayam rendang and ayam goring is tasty and it complements well with their fragrant nasi lemak or kerabu.

I can say every single dish here is as good as it looks and I hope you can visit this humble restaurant and give it a try! I wish the owner, Mr Ramadan all the best and thank you for everything!
