We went to Big Guy Steam Fish Restaurant Balakong Cheras a few times and it never disappoint us. It is a house converted restaurant, fully air conditioned.

Now, let’s check out their menu and mainly are steamed food. If you want something different, then Big Guy Steam Fish Restaurant Balakong Cheras is not the restaurant for you.

For dinner, we ordered Steam Fish Head, Steamed Chicken, Steamed Tofu and Steamed Kailan. As we mentioned earlier, their food is simple and healthy, everything is steamed.

For the steamed fish head, they offer a few types of fish and a few styles too. Just order the right one you prefer and they will steam for you. The options are signature steamed fish, sauce steamed fish, ginger steamed fish and PU steamed fish.

We had the ‘Ling Fish Head’ and it was pretty good. To be honest, the best way to taste the natural flavour of the fish is by steaming the fish and this is really enjoyable.

Steamed Chicken is also their signature dish as most tables ordered this and this is highly recommended by the owner.

Chicken is steamed to perfection and how we wish there are ‘oil rice’ to complement. Don’t forget the grated ginger for more flavours.

Steamed Tofu comes with oyster sauce and scallion. Smooth and silky tofu that kids will enjoy it.
