Kajang Penang Lang Char Kuey Teow

Time to do a quick sharing of a Char Kuey Teow stall in Kajang. It is called Penang Lang Char Kuey Teow and the location is at Jalan Changkat, Bandar Kajang near the Kajang morning market.

Kajang Penang Lang Char Kuey Teow opened last year and it is directly opposite the famous Ten Hup chee cheong fun stall. This is quite a busy stall and we found this by luck.

We have not much expectation for char kuey teow as we tried many stalls in Kajang and they were average so we didn’t put high hope on this.

The Kajang Penang Lang Char Kuey Teow is priced from RM 6.50 and above. It is a kopitiam stall and this used to be the famous chicken rice stall. They closed during MCO and this couple took over to sell char kuey teow.

We always order char kuey teow mix with noodles. Somehow I prefer the mixture of the noodles and kuey teow texture.

To be honest, we thought the taste of this Kajang Penang Lang Char Kuey Teow is pretty tasty. The flavor is there, the ‘wok hei’ is there. The most important part is they didn’t overcooked the siham.

The plate of char kuey teow also comes with pork lard, prawns, beansprouts, spring onion and Chinese sausage. They are quite generous with their large size siham and we enjoyed this very much.

Our expectation for char kuey teow is low so we enjoyed this Kajang Penang Lang Char Kuey Teow very much. Sometimes, you might spot me having this early in the morning. Thanks for reading!
