For those who stays in Kepong and this part of Kuala Lumpur, they definitely know and tasted Kei Tak Sek or KTZ desserts at Kepong Baru. Kei Tak Sek simply means remember to eat and this dessert stall has been around for decades.

Kei Tak Sek KTZ Desserts Kepong Baru and they are located at Gerai 17, Jalan Besar, Kepong Baru. On normal days, they open from 12 noon to 11.30 pm and normally you can spot the usual lunch, dinner and supper crowd.

They are popular with their fried dessert, steamed desserts as well as their ‘tong sui’ dessert such. They will prepare and cook their desserts daily so it is fresh.

Some of their popular dishes include paper wrapped chicken, fried chicken buffalo, crispy yam, baked crab and more.

Pick your order and their will serve by plate (non FMCO days). If you like fried desserts, this is place you need to visit.

For tong sui dessert, we like to order their peanut soup as it is full of flavour and delightful.

There are three Kei Tak Sek KTZ Desserts outlets and the other two outlets are located at SS2 and Bandar Menjalara. The Kei Tak Sek KTZ Desserts Kepong Baru is their HQ and we hope to revisit once the FMCO is over. Food here is good but it depends what you prefer too.
