KFry Urban Korean IOI City Mall

This is probably the most popular restaurant in IOI City Mall Putrajaya. There are many Korean restaurants in IOI City Mall, you can find Kfry Urban Korean, Dookki Korean buffet restaurant, Kyochon, CheongDamJaya, Mr. Dakgalbi, Soppong, Dubuyo, Seoul Garden, Oiso, Hanbing and BBQ Chicken.

KFry Urban Korean is located at G26 to IOI City Mall. It is near the side exit and opposite Coffee Bean café. Before MCO, you can find long queue in front of KFry Urban Korean every morning before their opening at IOI City Mall. Photos are before MCO so please calm down people!

After queuing for 30 minutes, I got my seat as I am tempted to try this Kfry due to the daily long queue. Having lunch alone is kind of sad as you can see there are couples and a group of people on each table.

What to order at KFry Urban Korean IOI City Mall?

Based on their recommendation and what I see on every table, it is their original cheesy Fried Chicken Bumbuk.

The original cheesy fried chicken bumbuk comes with 12 pieces of boneless chicken with 100% mozzarella cheese topped with cheese sauce and it is priced at RM 54.90. It is not cheap and the portion is good for two to three people.

So you can expect is they will do a live cooking in front of you and hence now you understand why the original cheesy fried chicken bumbuk is so pricey.

They will cook and melt the mozzarella cheese and then they will wrapped every single piece of that crispy boneless chicken with cheese. At the end of the day, there will be 12 pieces of boneless chicken wrapped with mozzarella cheese.

I like how they put so much effort in cooking and melting the cheese and wrapped every single piece of chicken. That is something many people are looking forward to.

How is the taste? To be honest, we felt that the cheese can be overwhelming. For the first few pieces, you will enjoy the cheesy cheese but after the second piece, you will feel that you had enough. The cheese is too thick and rich so it works for the first few pieces.

For the boneless chicken, it is crispy and tender without the cheese. I enjoyed the first few pieces of the original cheesy fried chicken bumbuk. If you are a cheese lover, you will definitely loves the original cheesy fried chicken bumbuk.

This is KFry Urban Korean Ioi City Mall and you can find them in many food delivery apps during this FMCO. I ordered their signature fried chicken and fries and it was really good. Will revisit KFry Urban Korean IOI City Mall when dining is available again.
