Kungfu Crab SS2 New Seafood Restaurant

This is the second time we blogged about this Restaurant. We got to know about Kungfu Crab during Movement Control Order (MCO) period and then we visited the restaurant recently. Kungfu Crab is a brand new seafood restaurant in SS2, Petaling Jaya.

The Kungfu Crab just opened recently and they are located at 151, Jalan SS 2/24, SS2 (the same row with RHB Bank). We went to this restaurant three times and we can see they are building loyal customers as the restaurant getting busier from time to time.

We ordered Salted Egg French Beans, Steamed Garoupa (Sek Pan), Watermelon Pork, Sweet and Spicy Crabs and Black Pepper Crabs. We tasted the Assam Seafood, Signature Pork Ribs and other types of crabs flavour in the past and so far their taste is very consistent and hence we visit them often.

To be honest, they are having crab promotion right now and it is value for money. You can order the XL or XXL size crabs and their crabs are fresh.

For salted egg lovers, this is a must order. Every single French beans is coated with real salted egg and this is delicious. On top of the salted egg overload, the texture of the French beans is amazing.

How do you taste the freshness and the natural flavour of the fish? You steamed it with light soy sauce. This time, we ordered the steamed garoupa or ‘sek pan’ with light soy sauce. The fish is steamed the perfection and we enjoyed every bite of this. The texture is spot on and we also enjoyed the taste of this fish. This might sounds simple and nice but it is hard to steam it to perfection.

Some might familiar with this dish and the watermelon dish comes with either pork or chicken. We ordered the watermelon pork. The pork is sweet and the texture is tender and it offers this refreshing after taste. This is a very interesting dish with watermelon and this is a must order if you never tried this before.

This is something new we ordered at Kungfu Crab SS2. The sweet and spicy crab is delicious and tasty. The sauce is goes really well with the crabs and also the fried mantao (Chinese bun). The most important thing of all, the crabs are fresh!

We have not ordered black pepper crab for a long time, probably since we had it in Singapore so we ordered this based on their recommendation. The taste is so immense with the black pepper and yet it goes so well with the crab. We felt this is not that spicy while some of our friends thought this is spicy but this will give Singapore’s black pepper crab a stiff competition.
