Tokyo Secret’s First Fusion Restaurant in Mid Valley

Tokyo Secret’s First Fusion Restaurant in Mid Valley

One year after Tokyo Secret opened their first store in Malaysia, they opened a new concept restaurant late last year. We went to taste their signature Melting Hanjuku Cheese Tart in their first outlet in IPC Shopping Centre in 2016.

That was our first time tasting the Japanese Baked Cheese tart in Malaysia. After the opening of Tokyo Secret, there was a craze on Japanese baked cheese tart. You can find other brands popping up and bakeries starting to sell Japanese baked cheese tarts as well. After tasting more than half a dozen different types of Japanese baked cheese tarts, in our opinion Tokyo Secret’s Japanese baked cheese tart is top of our list. Their version of Japanese baked cheese tart has the strongest cheese taste and the texture of the crust is just nice. Whenever we walked past Tokyo Secret, we will buy one or two Japanese baked cheese tarts.

Tokyo Secret recently opened their first fusion Japanese Western Restaurant in Mid Valley Megamall. It is located on the Lot F001, 1st Floor of Mid Valley Megamall next to the connecting bridge to The Gardens Shopping Mall.

What they offer for their restaurant is something new you should explore. We were there for the food tasting so we had a feast on that evening. Here are some of the food you can order in Tokyo Secret Restaurant.

Angus Beef Rib Eye with Teriyaki Sauce

The Angus beef rib eye is well seasoned and cooked. The taste is pretty good.

Unagi Teriyaki Rice

We can never say no to that thick piece of tasty unagi eel.

Soba Noodles in Ebiko Cream Sauce [Hokkaido Scallops and Clams]

We loved this. The combination of soba noodles in Ebiko cream sauce and the generous amount of Hokkaido scallops and clams.
