Over the last year especially in the last few months, there has been a huge rise in Azamara cruise bookings. If you have never been with Azamara, and you want to know why they are getting really popular, there can only be one answer. It is because they are BRILLIANT! Want to know more then read on.
If you take a look at our review section on our website, you will see that very few people come back and have a bad word to say about Azamara. First and foremost what you get for what you pay is incredible. The cruise itself is all inclusive, that's all soft drinks, alcohol, speciality coffees etc. All tips are included in the cruise fare so you don't need to worry about any nasty surprises on your onboard account at the end of your cruise. Azamara is classed as premium brand, this means it is 5 star plus. So they sit above Cunard, Celebrity, Holland America to name a few. Now you may think that a brand that includes all of the above would carry a hefty price tag, well at the moment we have a 13 night Med package in August that leads in at £1149 per person! We also have plenty more where that came from.
So what are the ships like? Well there are two ships in the fleet the Quest and the Journey. Azamara pride themselves on being a destination based cruise line. In Azamara's words they provide an in depth travel experience made possible with longer stays, more oversights and night touring. Both ships hold around 700 passengers, so this means they can get into the smaller, more interesting ports that the monster ships can't. On board you get all your usual facilities, Pool, Casino, Bars, Cabaret Lounge but, where they really excel is the food. You have the main restaurant with Open dining (So you can eat when you are hungry), but you also have two brilliant speciality restaurants the Aqualina and Prime C. Aqualina is Inspired by the coastal cuisines of Italy, Greece, France, Spain, and northern Africa. In Prime C you will find tender cuts of prime beef and fresh seafood that have been transformed into epicurean works of art.
