After a pretty good summer, it seems that the dark nights and gloomy Weather has returned. So if you are looking for that Winter Sun fix, now more than ever you can get away for less than you may think.



First of all, if you would like to gamble, a little you could go for the med. The eastern med will be warmer than west, but if you would consider the latter you can pick up a 12 night cruise for as little  as £649. Very attractive for the wallet, but this price will not be guarantee  sunshine.

If you are looking for something a little warmer, then why not look at the Canaries. Here you are looking at a slightly higher price probably around the £749 mark for 12 nights. You may have a few nights at the start of the cruise that may be a little chilly if leaving from Southampton, but when you arrive at the Canaries the weather should stay very good.

If your pockets are a little deeper, and you wouldn't mind travelling further, then why not try the Carribbean, Far East or South Amercica. Here the weather will be very nice. You would have to put up with the long haul flights, but at least when you arrived it would pretty much be guaranteed sunshine.

Finally, a once / twice in a lifetime trip to Australlia may be on the cards. With the sun always shining and all the sights / wildlife / beaches etc on offer, the are not many destinations better than Australia in terms of sunshine.
