We all know who the famous chef Jamie Oliver is, with books, TV shows and restaurants around the country he really had made a name for himself, and now he is taking it that step further by branching out, pretty much as far as you can go and launching his restaurant chain Jamie's Italian onboard the Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas class of ship.

Dishes will of course be of an Italian theme and each dish will be handmade using seasonal ingredients that can be picked up at the local ports of call.

Menu options will include Tuscan bean bruschetta, delicious in house made fresh pasta such as pumpkin panzerotti and prawn linguine. Along with a choice of small plates, main courses, grill options and of course my personal favourite desserts!

Jamie Oliver is one of Britain’s most famous chefs and I can see that this restaurant option onboard the Quantum class of ships will be hugely popular. There will be a cover charge to use this restaurant venue which will be open for both lunch and dinner with a smart casual dress code. Another new plus is quests can pre book to use this restaurant before they depart via the Royal Caribbean website.
