I ve been absent again for quite some time and I must admit recent disturbing global events have delayed my return. During this awful violent time I have questioned so many things, as I am sure so many of you have also.
As for answers well, truthfully, I am still struggling.
Primarily this site was born out of a desire to provide inspiration and information to those of you wishing to Travel to Italy, and learn a little more about the wonderful region of Umbria - my "back-yard", particularly those people planning to visit and holiday here. Also for those who just Love to see images of this gorgeous land and lifestyle and I am always so delighted to share knowledge, info and images.
However lately I began to ask myself if this was enough - is it relevant - in light of what is happening in Europe, in the world today..? My heart goes out, again, to Paris, to Mali, to the U.S. and today Cairo, to all the suffering that has been and unfortunately what is still to come...
You may be interested to know I have decided to continue this little site because I know there will always be those of you who love to travel and explore, enjoy stunning landscapes, taste excellent food and wine and experience new cultures and also those who love to dream and enjoy a little Beauty from time to time. Not a single thing wrong with that!
And so for a while, lets concentrate solely on the beauty, goodness knows we need it!!
