I am a sucker for what I call beautiful ruins.
I cannot resist a crumbling building....a mound of ancient stones.
Cleaning up some old photo files I recently found these images....all of properties that were 'potentials' when we first began our Italian property search many years ago.
None of these ended up being 'the one' but there is a story behind each property that remains firmly embedded in my imagination.
I imagine that most of these stunning places still stand lonely & abandoned to this day.
Proud & amazingly strong - considering the elements in some of these remote places.
Still waiting patiently...
for just the right people to come to the rescue.
