Umbrian sunflower fields
The Weekend comes around quickly! Today we are driving to Tuscany for a friends party
which should be a lot of fun...
The Sunflowers have bloomed early this year and are currently still looking magnificent.
Some heads as large as dinner-plates. I love driving past these swathes of yellow - so cheerful.

Spoleto Festival finishes tomorrow with a big finale and fireworks display and there is also a great free concert in Assisi tomorrow. This is one of the best music festivals in the region with many exciting performers from all over Europe and further afield - well worth checking out.
