Hello, how are you? I bought a pet while I was on vacation and I wanted to transport him to the United States.

Can you tell me what steps I need to take to do this?

We're doing well, thanks for asking! To move a pet to the United States, you'll need to meet a few basic requirements that include acquiring a health certificate and making sure your dog has been vaccinated against rabies.

Check out the United States pet import rules, and we also recommend that you start looking into acquiring an approved Travel carrier and researching pet-friendly airlines.
