We were thrilled to be moving to Europe, and the only hesitation was how to get Jack moved with as little anxiety as possible.
Historically he was super anxious just riding in a car, so the thought of putting him on a plane had me stressed. And then we found PetRelocation! From the very first communication I began to feel better, and once I had the chance to talk through the process with Catie I knew it would be great.
The level of communication from both Catie and Sandhya was excellent, informative and full of compassion for a dog owner busy and anxious in transition. Even with the added complication of us needing to leave 6 weeks prior to Jack, they turned my biggest fear about the move into one of the smoothest and best parts of the move.
They worked with my parents and our vet to complete the process. My parents said Brian, the gentleman who picked Jack up, was a true dog whisperer. The whole team coached us through getting Jack comfortable ahead of time for travel and it worked like a charm.
Jack had a smooth trip and arrived at our home in Germany in great spirits and happy to see us. He is doing so well here and has already been on his first European road trip to see Castles.
We found a great pet friendly hotel in Rothenburg, with a hotel owner so thoughtful she remembered his name from a casual introduction upon check in and she spoke to him by name as we checked out. Jack feels quite welcome in this new place.
