Halloweentown’s Silver Jubilee: St. Helens, Oregon Celebrates 25 Years of Movie Magic

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Disney‘s “Halloweentown,” and St. Helens, Oregon, the real-life Halloweentown, is ready to embrace the spooky festivities. Known for hosting the cast and crew during the film’s production in 1998, the town transforms into a bewitching destination each year, inviting fans to celebrate the magic of the movie.

From September 16 to October 31, St. Helens will be abuzz with the Spirit of Halloweentown events. Highlights include the Big Halloween Parade on October 7, the Pumpkin Lighting Ceremony at Courthouse Plaza, and the Haunted House open on weekends and select weekdays until 8 p.m. Additionally, a special event on October 21, “25 Years of Halloweentown With D23,” hosted by the official Disney fan club, will feature screenings and more for its members.
