1. 1. 1. Take a gondola ride in Venice, Italy

         A visit to the spectacular city of Venice just wouldn’t be complete without experiencing a ride in a gondola. Whether your clients choose to tour the busy Grand Canal area or opt for a quieter and more romantic backwater cruise is really up to them.

      2. Drink a pint of Guinness in Dublin, Ireland

         When in Dublin – the home of Guinness – we recommend visitors head for a multimedia tour of the Guinness Storehouse which ends with a perfectly drawn pint in the Gravity Bar. Alternatively, opt for the cosy atmosphere of the iconic Temple Bar pub for their speciality of oysters and Guinness.

      3. Feel festive at Europe’s Christmas markets

         With twinkling lights, Christmas carols and charming traditional stalls – laden with delicious food and drink as well as handcrafted gifts – Europe celebrates the festive season in style.

      4. Tiptoe through the tulip fields in Amsterdam, Holland

         Witness the breath-taking beauty and vibrant burst of colour as the tulip fields of Amsterdam spring into life – we recommend making a special visit to Keukenhof Tulip Gardens (from March until May).

      5. See the Eiffel Tower at sunset, Paris, France

         As dusk falls over the city, the effervescent sparkling lights illuminate the iconic Paris tower, every hour after sunset.

      6. Walk the ancient city walls of Dubrovnik, Croatia

         Whether or not your clients are Game of Thrones fans, they will be impressed by the stunning views from Dubrovnik’s city walls as they take in the magnificent architecture and learn about the Old Town’s fascinating history.

      7. Visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp, near Krakow, Poland

         Many tourists feel that it’s important to learn about the tragic history of Auschwitz and fully understand the meaning of what happened here.

      8. Watch the astronomical clock in the Old Town Square, Prague, Czech Republic

         Also known as The Orloj, the clock dates back to the medieval period, having first been installed in 1410, and has some interesting folklore associated to it. Considered a mechanical ‘wonder’, the clock is one of Prague’s most iconic features and visitors gather to witness its moving statue display on the hour.

      9. Spend Christmas in Lapland, Finland

         There’s nothing quite like experiencing the magic of Christmas in the snowy beauty of Santa’s homeland.

      10. Visit the Brandenburg Gate and remnants of the Berlin Wall, Germany

          The Brandenburg Gate has come to represent unity in Germany, commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the reunification of East and West Germany. Today, the monument symbolises peace and tolerance.

      11. Take in an opera in Vienna, Austria

          Vienna is possibly the ultimate city in which to experience world-class opera, as well as classical music concerts and ballet. The Vienna State Opera House, or Vienna Staatsoper, is one of the world’s most celebrated opera venues – making it a very popular tourist destination – and hosts daily operatic performances throughout the 300-day season.

      12. Explore Gaudi’s architecture in Barcelona, Spain

          We highly recommend a visit to the spectacular Sagrada Familia cathedral. However, Barcelona also offers more examples of Antoni Gaudí’s incredible architecture in the form of Casa Vicens, Parc Güell, and La Pedrera.

      13. Witness the Northern Lights in Norway

          The natural phenomena of the aurora borealis is one of the most humbling experiences, hence why it is on many traveller’s bucket lists.

      14. Visit Shakespeare’s Globe, London, England

          Widely considered to be one of the most impactful poets and playwriters of all time, Shakespeare’s Globe is a world-renowned arts venue and cultural attraction, which has been carefully reconstructed on the banks of the River Thames.
