Business investors There are no ongoing EOI draws for the Business Investor Stream. Within four weeks, every EOI that is submitted is examined. If the EOI satisfies the program’s requirements, the MPNP will either provide a Letter of Advice to Apply or, in the event that the EOI is unsatisfactory, a Feedback Letter.

The Manitoba PNP (MPNP) used its Expression of Interest (EOI) procedure to hold a fresh draw. 540 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were distributed to qualified candidates who were present in the pool as part of the June 15 EOI draw.

Latest Manitoba EOI Draw #182

Candidates from all three Manitoba PNP streams—Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Workers Overseas—received LAAs in this most recent draw.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba

The following requirements must be met in order to be qualified to submit an EOI under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category:

Additionally, your employer must show that it is a reputable business in Manitoba and that it can provide you with a long-term, full-time position.

International grads who attended study in Canada but outside of Manitoba might still be qualified to apply through the category of Skilled Workers in Manitoba. However, graduates who attended school in Canada but outside of Manitoba and subsequently migrated to that province to find employment must first work for their company for at least a year (instead of just six months) in order to qualify.

The six-month (or one-year) work experience requirement does not apply to all sorts of employment, which should be noted. The requirement does not apply to time spent working as a sole proprietor or independent contractor, working illegally (for instance, without a work permit), or working while enrolled in full-time study.

International Education Stream: Manitoba PNP

With a renewed emphasis on entrepreneurship, innovation, and skilled employment, the government of Manitoba is proposing three different new Canadian immigration pathways for students and graduates under the Manitoba International Education Stream of the Manitoba PNP (MPNP).

The Manitoba International Education Stream’s objective is to help foreign graduates in Manitoba become lawful permanent residents. The Canadian province of Manitoba wants to make it easier for foreign graduates of one of its universities or colleges to get permanent residency there.

The Manitoba International Education Stream offers three options.

Note this! The qualifications for international graduates applying through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream in Manitoba might appear to be identical to those for the Manitoba International Education Stream. The requirement to work for six months prior to applying has been eliminated for overseas graduates who attended school in Manitoba and have a job offer in a profession that is in high demand (see below).

Profiles that claimed to meet the standards for the international education stream.

Number of LAAs issued: 59

Skilled Worker Overseas: Manitoba PNP

Based on the demands of the Manitoba economy and regional employers, the Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas program was developed. This Canadian immigration category is points-based.

An expression of interest is required before an applicant is taken into consideration for immigration to Manitoba. When the Government of Manitoba does a draw, or invitation round, the top applicants are then invited to apply to the MPNP. An invitation is referred to as a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) in Manitoba.

Nominations are made for those chosen for permanent residence.

Candidates for the Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas category must show an established connection to Manitoba through one of the following means:

Those who stated in their profiles that the MPNP had directly invited them as part of a strategic hiring campaign.

There have been LAAs issued: 21

The lowest-ranked candidate invited was ranked: 718.

In the most recent Manitoba PNP draw, 540 LAAs were distributed, and 187 of those were given to applicants who provided a legitimate Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

How does Manitoba EOI draw work?

A crucial part of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), which enables qualified foreign employees and international graduates to move to the province of Manitoba in Canada, is the Manitoba Expression of Interest (EOI) draw. Using a points-based approach, candidates are chosen from a pool of prospective applicants in the EOI draw.

People must submit an online EOI that evaluates their eligibility based on variables like age, education, work experience, language competence, and links to Manitoba in order to be eligible for the EOI draw. The Manitoba PNP points calculator is used to award a point score to each candidate based on these criteria, and the candidates with the highest scores are invited to apply for provincial nomination through regular draws.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program selects the highest-scoring candidates during the EOI draw and provides them with a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) for a provincial nomination. Candidates may submit a full application for a provincial nomination to the MPNP after receiving a LAA by including comprehensive information and supporting documentation.

After reviewing the applications, the MPNP decides whether the applicants are eligible and have a sincere desire to live and work in Manitoba. Candidates who are accepted are given a nomination certificate, which they can use to apply to the federal government for permanent residence.
