This 14-day luxury vacation of Morocco includes visits to Imperial towns, a winery, cooking classes, and a walk through the Sahara desert. Before returning to Marrakech, the journey departs from Marrakech and stops at Casablanca, Rabat, Volubilis, Meknes, Fes, Merzouga, the Toudgha Gorges, Dades Canyon, and Ouarzazate. It also includes activities like seeing Berber nomads in their caves and feeding Barbary apes. Other activities include watching the dawn and sunset over the desert sands.

Tour Overview

Day 1 : Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome to Marrakech! Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your luxury riad for a welcome dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Marrakech ~ Casablanca ~ Rabat

Just after breakfast, travel to Rabat, stopping along the way to see the magnificent Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. See the magnificent Mohamed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, Kasbah Chellah, and Oudaya Gardens in Rabat. A fancy hotel dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Rabat ~ Volubilis ~ Meknes

Go to Volubilis to visit the hot baths and Roman remains after breakfast. Travel to Meknes to see the magnificent Bab Mansour, Bab Khdim, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Dinner and a night’s stay at a posh riad.

Day 4 : Meknes ~ Wine Tasting ~ Fes

After breakfast on the fourth day, we’ll depart on a camel trip into the Merzouga desert. You’ll ride or walk behind the camels, which will carry everything required to cook your meal, which your camel guy will prepare in the dunes. You’ll walk for three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon. After supper, you’ll return to the bivouac and spend the night in a typical Berber camp.

Day 5 : Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga

Go from Fes to the Sahara Desert, stopping along the way to observe the Middle Atlas cedar woods and Barbary monkeys at Ifrane and Azrou. Before traveling through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Merzouga, have lunch at Midelt, the apple capital of the world. Enjoy a camel ride to the top of the dunes to see the sunset, then have supper and spend the night in a luxurious desert tent.

Day 6 : Merzouga ~ Khamlia - Rissani ~ Merzouga

Visit the “black town” of Khamlia to witness the Gnawa musicians after breakfast, then have a typical Berber pizza for lunch before touring the desert dunes. Afternoon: Get ready for a camel ride to the bivouac, where you’ll watch the sunset, eat supper, and spend the night in a posh desert camp.

Day 7 : Merzouga ~ Erfoud ~ Tinghir ~ Toudgha Gorges ~ Dades Canyon

Before leaving for Tinghir and the magnificent Toudgha Gorges, get up early to witness the dawn over the sand dunes and go for a stroll in the desert. Before going to the Dades Canyon for supper and an overnight stay at a posh guest home, have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Day 8 : Dades Canyon ~ Boutaghrar Piste ~ Ouarzazate

Take a stroll through the Dades Gorges after breakfast before continuing on to Ouarzazate. Take a diversion along the Boutaghrar piste and stop by Berber nomads in their caves for a cup of tea along the route. Carry on to Ouarzazate for supper and an overnight stay in a luxurious riad by passing the kasbahs of Skoura Palm and the Valley of the Roses.

Day 9 : Ouarzazate ~ Ait Ben Haddou ~ Telouet Kasbah ~Marrakech

Welcome to day nine of your journey! We advise seeing the city’s historical landmarks today. Start by going to the historic castle, which provides beautiful views of the city and its surroundings. After that, you may visit the nearby museum to discover more about the city’s fascinating past and present.

Day 10 : Ouarzazate via Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, then to Telouet Kasbah, finally arriving in Marrakech

Moving on to the tenth day, we suggest taking a break from the city and going on a day trip to the nearby countryside. You can enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling hills and stop at small towns and villages along the way. Make sure to try some of the local cuisine, which is sure to be a treat for your taste buds.

Day 11 : A briefly Visit to Essaouira ,before returning to Marrakech.

You are allowed to take a boat trip on the city’s river on the eleventh day. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of the city from a new angle. The riverside market is another place you may go to buy local goods and souvenirs.

Day 12 : Guided Marrakech Tour

Outdoor activities can be planned for the twelfth day. Hiking or bicycling in one of the local national parks or natural reserves is an option. You might also attempt some water sports, such as kayaking or canoeing.

Day 13 : Marrakech/ Moroccoan Kitchen Overview. (Optional)

We propose spending the thirteenth day exploring some of the city’s major cultural attractions. You can go to the local theater to see a performance or a show, or you can go to an art museum to see the works of local artists.

Day 14 : Marrakech

Finally, on the fourteenth day, you can unwind by visiting the city’s parks and gardens. Take a walk through the botanical gardens, have a picnic in the park, or simply soak up the sun and enjoy the relaxed attitude of the city.
