Tour Overview

Day 1 : Casablanca ~ Rabat ~ Meknes

On the first day, we will see Casablanca’s famous Hassan II Mosque before traveling to Rabat and finally Meknes, where we will stay in a traditional riad.

Day 2 : Meknes ~ Volubilis ~ Fes

Before arriving in Fes on the second day, we will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy village of Moulay Idriss. On the third day, you will visit the medina and its famed souks with a local guide and witness traditional Moroccan crafts at the tannery and ceramics cooperative.

Day 3 : Fés Guided Tour

Discover the medina and the famed Souks of Fes on a guided trip. See Fes’s old mosques, green-glazed minarets, gorgeous palaces, and monuments. The tour includes stops at a tannery and a ceramics cooperative to learn about traditional Moroccan crafts.

Day 4 : Fes ~ Ilfrane ~ Azrou ~ Midelt ~ Merzouga

Leave from Fes and go to Azrou to observe Barbary apes in the Middle Atlas forest. Lunch in Midelt, Germany’s “apple capital.” Proceed through the Ziz Valley and across the Tizi-n-Talgoumt pass. Arrive Er Rachidia and then Erfoud, noted for its date festival and fossils, before heading to the famous Erg Chebbi Dunes. Have a glass of tea in a Guest House near the dunes, go for a walk in the dunes, and enjoy the stunning sunset from the top of the dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at the Guest House.

Day 5 : Merzouga ~ Khamlia ~ Rissani ~ Erg Chebb

Visit the desert landscape, make a circuit of the dunes, and learn about nomad life. Visit Khamlia’s “black village” to observe the Gnawa musicians. Lunch should be a classic Berber pizza. Prepare for the camel ride in the afternoon. While at the bivouac, enjoy a camel ride to the top of the dunes to watch the sunset. Back at the bivouac, eat dinner and spend the night in tents.

Day 6 : Merzouga ~ Toudgha Gorges ~ Dades Canyon

Get up early to catch the magnificent sunrise over the dunes before returning to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. To get to Toudgha Gorge, travel via the palm-lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad. Before proceeding to your lodging in the Dades Canyon, take a walk through the Toudgha Gorges and eat lunch in a local restaurant.

Day 7 : Dades Canyon ~ Boutaghrar Piste ~ Ouarzazate

Before leaving for Tinghir and the magnificent Toudgha Gorges, get up early to witness the dawn over the sand dunes and go for a stroll in the desert. Before going to the Dades Canyon for supper and an overnight stay at a posh guest home, have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Day 8 : Ouarzazate Guided Tour

Spend the day shopping or sightseeing at your leisure. See the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas film studios, often known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”.

Day 9 : Ouarzazate ~ Ksar Ait Ben Haddou ~ Telouet Kasbah ~ Marrakech

After breakfast, the journey continues to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage site that has served as the setting for numerous Hollywood blockbusters. It is Morocco’s most well-known Ksar. The road continues to Telouet along the new asphalted road from there. Telouet is located in the mountains and was previously the residence of Marrakesh’s last Pasha, El Glaoui, from which the highest pass in Africa, Tizi-n-Tichka, was controlled. We arrive at Marrakesh at the end of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in your Riad.

Day 10 : Marrakech Gudied Tour

On the tenth day of your journey, you will go on a guided tour of Marrakech, visiting some of the city’s most recognizable attractions such as the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saâdien tombs, and the Bahia Palace. The tour will also take you through the enthralling Medina and the colorful Jamaa El Fna square, where you can experience live entertainment and the magnificence of the souks.

Day 11 : Marrakech : plan-free day

The 11th day is free for you to explore Marrakech at your leisure or to join an optional day tour to Cascade d’Ouzoud, where you may marvel at the spectacular waterfalls and take in the scenic splendor of the region.

Day 12 : Marrakech ~ Essaouira

On the 12th day, we will have the morning free to shop or rest in Marrakech before travelling for Essaouira, a picturesque port city on the Atlantic coast.

Day 13 : Essaouira : plan-free Day

The 13th day is free for you to explore Essaouira’s old fortified fishing harbor, where you may enjoy the blend of Portuguese and Berber architecture, wander through colorful souks, art galleries, and carpentry workshops dedicated to cedar and Thuya wood carving. Go around the walled waterfront and taste freshly caught seafood from local booths.

Day 14 : Essaouira ~ Marrakech

We will spend the morning at leisure on the 14th before travelling for Marrakech in the early afternoon, arriving about 4 pm and dropping you off at your accommodation.
