Magenta Line Timings and Frequency

The Magenta Line operates with different schedules throughout the week. On weekdays and Saturdays, it runs from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, while on Sundays and public holidays, it operates from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The frequency of trains adjusts according to the time of day and passenger demand. During peak hours, you can expect a train every 5 minutes, while during off-peak hours, it runs every 10 minutes.   • QR Code: A QR code is a digitally readable code that you can create online via the DMRC website or the Ridlr app. With a QR code, you can conveniently pay your fare using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, or digital wallets. It’s essential to note that a QR code is valid for one journey and must be used on the same day it’s generated. While QR code users are required to pay the full fare without discounts or cashback, they can also employ their QR codes for parking at metro stations.
  • National Common Mobility Card (NCMC): An NCMC is a contactless card that can be used for multiple modes of transport across the country, such as metro, bus, train, taxi, etc. The NCMC users can pay the fare through their bank accounts or wallets. The NCMC is valid for multiple journeys and can be used on any day. The NCMC users have to pay the full fare for the journey and do not get any discounts or cashback. The NCMC can also be used for parking at the metro stations.

Magenta Line Features and Facilities
