Kashmir valley
The Kashmir Valley is in the northeastern Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The region encompasses an area of approximately 145,130 square miles in the southern part of the Greater Himalaya Range or Pir Panjal Range.
It is bounded by China to the north, Pakistan to the west, India to the south, and Tibet to the northeast.
