1. HUBSY Arts et Métiers (3rd arr.)

HUBSY Arts et Métiers is definitely one of the best coworking spaces in Paris. It’s functional, offering everything you need for a productive work session, but at the same time effortlessly stylish and trendy.

I really like the fact that you don’t need to pay extra to use the meeting rooms and phone booths, which is often the case at many other coworking spots. Food and drink are also included in the price, making it an even more attractive option for coworking in Paris.

The location is great – just a 5-minute walk from the popular Marais district, and close to several Metro stations, meaning that getting here is a breeze from most other parts of the city.

When your work is done, head over to the Little Red Door, my absolute favorite cocktail bar in Paris – it’s superb!

Another great feature of this coworking spot is that you can pay in half-hour increments, which is ideal if you only need to use the space for a limited period of time. It costs €6 for the first hour, and then €2.50 per half-hour thereafter.

MOZAIK Coworking Spaces Chaussée d’Antin is another premium coworking hub in Paris. Nestled in the lively 9th Arrondissement, it’s housed inside a beautiful traditional Parisian building with gorgeous views.

The interior design is very chic, with colorful tiled floors, and exposed wooden beams, but provides all the functionality of a modern office.

It’s also close to a range of great bars and restaurants, with everything from sophisticated high-end places to casual hole-in-the-wall spots within a short stroll.

For some stylish retail therapy, I can also recommend checking out the nearby Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. This grand and iconic department store has an amazing art nouveau steel-framed glass dome roof and a huge number of different shops and boutiques.

La Permanence is a flexible and cost-effective coworking space. Located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, this coworking space is a go-to for students, owing to its close proximity to various universities.

It’s a fairly no-frills place, but is also cheaper than many other coworking spaces in Paris, making it ideal for those looking for a place to be productive without breaking the budget.

That said, it has a comfortable, well-lit interior featuring all of the essential office equipment, such as printers, photocopiers, and scanners. And a strictly enforced silent zone helps to ensure that it’s a good place for undisturbed focus and concentration.

I love wandering around the 5th arrondissement. There are many attractive squares, little gardens, medieval churches, and other interesting places to explore.

As the name suggests, there’s a lot of green here – potted plants are positioned on every desk, green carpets cover the floors, green chairs are in abundance, and green artwork laces the walls. I really like this, the whole place gives off soothing nature vibes.

Located a stone’s throw from the iconic Place de la Bastille, it’s a great place if you want to be surrounded by the city’s rich history and vibrant culture.

To elevate the work experience, Greenspace not only offers all the staples like meeting rooms and chill-out areas, but they also have a range of wellness features including yoga classes and standing desks.

Located next to the Centre Pompidou – an architectural wonder that’s home to a vast library and one of the best and most famous collections of modern art in Europe – this is a great coworking space for those interested in exploring Paris’ extensive cultural offerings.

The interior is soothingly minimalist, with a functional yet cozy ambiance. It attracts a mix of local freelancers and digital nomads and is a great place to network with other remote workers.

The surrounding area close to Le Marais is also really beautiful and perfect for exploring on your lunch break. I love the maze of cobbled streets, secret alleyways, and attractive little corners.

10h10 Coworking Cafe is one of the most unique coworking spaces in Paris. With its vintage 70s theme, this coworking space has a fantastic ambiance, full of retro charm and creativity.

Facilities include two cozy and colorful meeting rooms with modern conferencing facilities (contrasting with the retro 70s decor), a range of different workstations and seating areas, and free tea, coffee, and water.

The atmosphere is collaborative and dynamic, and the space regularly puts on social activities and events to help you get to know your fellow coworkers.

This great coworking space also has an excellent location, between Beaubourg and the Marais, in the fashionable 3rd Arrondissement. Le Carlie is an amazing underground bar just minutes away, housed inside an ancient vaulted stone cellar.

Patchwork is an upmarket chain of Parisian coworking spaces with 8 branches throughout the city. Their Taitbout branch, in the 9th Arrondissement (Paris’ theater district), offers a range of high-end facilities in a swanky converted townhouse.

Patchwork’s “thing” is that they design their coworking spaces to resemble luxury hotels. The staff are highly trained, and the decor is both immaculate and luxurious.

The interior is decked out with designer furniture, providing a blend of sophistication and warmth. There’s also a beautiful outdoor terrace, with lots of greenery and garden furniture, so you can either work outside during the warmer months or take a break and enjoy the fresh air.

It’s a hub for collaboration and networking, with remote workers from all over the world coming here on a regular basis.

It’s located a couple of minutes’ walk from the Hôtel de Ville (the main City Hall), close to the north bank of the Seine. Lunchtime walks along the river? Tick.

The interior is comfortable, clean, and professional, designed with care to create a conducive work environment. The atmosphere is quiet and calm, ideal for those looking for a spot to focus and get into the zone.

For a quick and delicious lunch, head to BAOBAR just down the road where you can feast on some of the best steamed buns I’ve ever eaten.

9. HUBSY République (10th arr.)

Another excellent offering from HUBSY, the République branch feels more like a work-focused coffee shop than a coworking space. But with the helpful addition of phone booths and meeting rooms.

The space itself used to be a grocery shop, and is light and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a fantastic coffee bar complete with a high-end La Marzocco espresso machine.

Muted tones, potted plants, and lots of well-positioned lighting all help to ensure that the whole place feels calm and productive, but also relaxed and welcoming.

The location is great too, close to the Place de la République, the Canal Saint-Martin, and the Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est train stations. For a filling breakfast to set you up for the day, Holybelly is an excellent American-style breakfast diner just a couple of doors down.

10. KWERK Bienfaisance (8th arr.)

Contrasting wonderfully with HUBSY République’s muted coffee shop vibes, KWERK Bienfaisance looks more like a cross between an experimental cocktail bar and a 1960s nightclub.

The whole place is full of giant sculptures of animals and mythical creatures, housed in illuminated display cases. The interior lighting is low and moody, there are velvet sofas and textured walls.

There’s also a rooftop terrace offering fantastic views over the skyline of Paris, as well as a garden with (yet more) quirky sculptures.

Despite its more-than-slightly offbeat appearance, this coworking space has a fantastic range of modern office facilities. It’s a great option for digital nomads who want somewhere to work with all of the benefits of a traditional office but with a different feeling and vibe to it.

KWERK Bienfaisance even has its own on-site gym and yoga studio. It’s located close to the leafy Parc Monceau, which is a lovely place for a lunch break or a midafternoon stroll.

Part of the global WeWork chain, WeWork Rue des Italiens is located on a beautiful street with lots of historic architecture near the Palais Garnier opera house. One of my favorite wine bars in this area of Paris is the fantastically named Wine Therapy.

As with other WeWork locations, this spot offers a good mix of functionality and comfort, with a range of modern facilities including high-tech conference rooms, printers, and flexible working areas.

It’s pet-friendly and has a spacious rooftop terrace with great views over the city. This is also one of the only central Paris coworking spaces to offer parking for cars.

Access to WeWork Rue des Italiens is included as part of WeWork’s “All Access Plus” membership. This also gives you access to hundreds of other WeWork branches around the world and costs $299 USD/month (or $255 USD/month for new users for the first 6 months).

It’s housed inside a former private mansion and is spread out over 3 floors, offering a stylish and alternative place to get through some work. There’s lots of designer furniture and an inner courtyard/garden area where you can relax and get a spot of fresh air.

There’s a good range of different places to work from, both indoors and outdoors, and regular social events help to create a vibrant community atmosphere.

La Cordée is one of the best coworking spaces near Paris’ historic Gare de Lyon station.

This is a particularly casual, friendly workspace, and is popular with a diverse range of people, including local freelancers, digital nomads, and entrepreneurs. I particularly like their dedicated napping area, which is evidence of the space’s holistic work environment.

It’s a bit further out from the city center than many of the other coworking spaces on this list, which could be a pro or a con, depending on your preferences.

For a classy lunch or dinner in opulent old-fashioned surroundings, I can personally recommend the restaurant Le Train Bleu which is located inside the Gare de Lyon itself. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to another century!

Located just a stone’s throw from the iconic Panthéon and Sorbonne Université, Level Coworking Café offers a relaxed, cozy atmosphere perfect for getting your head down.

The decor is simple and functional, something midway between a cafe and a living room but with office facilities.

This space offers a good range of amenities, and being in the heart of the Latin Quarter means you’re close to many excellent cafes and bars. Teddy’s Bar is one of my favorites. Or, for something classier, you can head to Café de Paris V, a stylish and intimate piano bar.
