Chandigarh also known as City Beautiful is the first planned city of India which was designed in 1953 by the French architect Le Corbusier. The city is famous for its parks, gardens and beautiful people who are genuine at heart. The overall soul of city still persists though a number of roundabouts which used to be the heart of Chandigarh have given way to traffic lights due to increasing pressure.
