What made you choose Su?

I have more than 6 years of experience in hotels from Madeira (Portuguese island) as well as in cape verde and post that I have worked with mallorca/ibiza and tenerife.

Later I transitioned to a start-up named Glovo, which is a delivery app service. I was part of their team for a duration of 2 years. Following my tenure at Glovo, I made a transition to an e-scooter company.

Armed with the experience gained from my previous roles, I took the position of a senior implementation consultant at HUB OS, a leading hotelier software company. In this capacity, my responsibilities included the implementation of the company’s software across various hotels in Europe. I initiated this process in Spain, focusing on two prominent hotel chains: NH Group and Hesperia Group.

Currently, I find myself at Su, where I continue to apply my skills and expertise, contributing to the growth of the Company with a young team.

To begin with, my attraction on venturing into an entirely new domain different than my background stemmed from the thrill of novelty. While I had heard about channel manager and the associated technologies in my prior roles, Su represented a fresh brand and a unique experience for me. From the very first day, I embraced the opportunity to learn and contribute more effectively.

What do you like most about Su and your job?

When considering what I appreciate most about Su and my role, it boils down to both – the work itself and the technology I deal with. Personally, I thrive on communication, a trait I’ve exhibited from a very young age during my work-related travels.

Su’s setup allows me to engage with accounts from various countries, indulging my curiosity about people and their cultures. Furthermore, the dynamic nature of Su, it consistently refines its services for PMS Partners, invigorates my enthusiasm. I firmly believe that a job should not only offer fulfilment but also kindle excitement and a drive for constant improvement.

Your success mantra?

As for my guiding principle towards success, this may sound a bit cliché, but I draw inspiration from Charlie Chaplin’s timeless words: “A day without laughter is a day wasted.” Humour, as a tool to navigate through challenges, has been my reliable companion, keeping me motivated even in challenging situations.

Your interests outside Su. Do they help you do your job better?

My passion lies in exploring museums and art galleries, surrounded by a circle of friends who are artists, including painters, graphic designers, and musicians. My favorite artists are Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and Leonardo DaVinci. In her free time, I enjoy playing football and embarking on weekend adventures, an activity that not only fosters physical well-being but also imparts valuable teamwork skills.

Moreover, the influence of my artistic circle and my personal love for travel have enriched my ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. The exposure to various forms of expression and cultures has honed my interpersonal skills, aiding me in connecting with people from different walks of life.
