What to see?

Take Via del Mulini and you will be right in the heart of the city, with many cafes and shops. The historic and unique Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta also awaits you in the center. It dates back to the famous Byzantine era, when Positano was a very important part of the Amalfi Republic. There are seven other churches in Positano.

There are a total of five watchtowers on the coast by the sea. They originated from the 13th century. The oldest was Torre Sponda, built during the reign of Anjou.
