It's close to a pebble beach and within a walking distance of the village of Lonmore. Loch Dunvegan House is excellently located. You can discover the pure and raw nature of Skye from this villa. And when you return to Dunvegan, you'll be spoiled by the high-class furniture and space of the villa which can host up to 12 people.

Inside the property, you’ll find a classy and premium interior. The owners take good care of the property and make sure the Victorian villa is up to modern standards. One example is the recently renovated kitchen. Nothing beats a good stew after a long walk through the nature of Skye. From your house, you have a perfect mountain and sea view. Quite extraordinary to have both. The garden is large and you'll enjoy the privacy of the property. In the living area, you'll find a working fireplace and comfortable leather couches.

When we go upstairs, you get 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. The beds are solid 2-person box springs with high levels of comfort. Loch Dunvegan House is highly suitable for large groups but it's also a great pick if you enjoy a large private house. All the rooms are in Victorian style with modern (yet classy-looking) furniture. There is also plenty to do near this villa in Skye. For instance, you can go fishing, play golf, go out for dinner, and enjoy the prettiest nature of Scotland. Arrochar House – Rural villa to rent in Scotland

Step into my hidden paradise which is also known as Arrochar House. Arrochar House is hidden in the trees very close to Loch Lomond (my favorite Loch). It's like you step out of your known world and find tranquility and peace in this marvelous villa. Of all our villas to rent in Scotland, this one will offer a lot of privacy and luxury. It's a great villa for families or groups (max 12 sleeps) thanks to its modern interior and design.

The living area is spacious yet cozy thanks to the working fireplace. Arrochar House has good furniture for elderly people, but also comfortable couches for teens. If you like food as I do, then you'll be glad to hear that the kitchen is magnificent. It's modern with 2 ovens, a microwave, a high-tech fridge, and many more attributes that help you cook the best dinners. Upstairs, there are 6 bedrooms with plenty of space and good beds. There are 5 modern bathrooms (mostly ensuite) with baths or showers. If you like more privacy (or get rid of one of your relatives), then you can make use of the coach house. This is part of your villa and dates back to the old days. Nowadays, it's a highly comfortable and luxurious guest house.

The entire property is walled and this makes the garden suitable for the young and brave who might wander into the woods around Loch Lomond. Even more important is the hot tub. A villa with a hot tub? Yes, you read that right. Here you can relax the muscles and sip a good wine while the sun disappears in Loch Lomond. Lochloy Mansion has a great heritage and gives you the feeling of stepping back in time. It's a majestic property of impressive size with a lot of class. There is even a sitting area in the hallway for guests… Yes, it's that kind of wow factor.

Let's take a peek inside this massive mansion. There is a lot of wood accents and sealing decoration to make this mansion even more impressive. The classical furniture and art make sure that you don't forget that you are living in a proper Adam-styled mansion. Loch Ness Maison – A villa next to Loch Ness!

We can't talk about the best villas to rent in Scotland without considering a villa located at Loch Ness, can we? Right, that's why we are going to talk about this property. As the name suggests, it's located near Loch Ness. However, it's next to Loch Ness. When you look out of the window, you'll see the most spectacular Loch views you have ever witnessed.

To fully benefit from the amazing view of Loch Ness, the original owners made a round wall with a lot of glass. This way, you have a fantastic panoramic view of the lake. However, you’ll probably be wondering about the property itself. All good and fun, but how’s the villa itself? Well, let me guide you around the place. This villa is best described as cozy and creates a warm atmosphere. It isn't as spacious as the other villas, however, it has a lot of great areas. For instance, you get a movie room and a game room! That together with the spectacular views of Loch Ness will make it difficult to leave the place.

I am at least going to try to get you out of this amazing villa. Because there are also great activities to do at Loch Ness. You can go fishing, a boat ride, hiking, visit castles, and many more. This property offers you a great location to discover the Highlands. And if one of your days is less enjoyable by bad weather, then just look outside and enjoy the spectacular views of Loch Ness.

Wallace House – Georgian country house to rent in Scotland

So far we have had Victorian and Adam-styled houses. Time for a new one, and it's a Georgian country house! It's very spacious and you'll get to enjoy a classical interior with art and fireplaces. Of course, this wouldn't be complete if it didn't have a large garden with a country view. The property can host up to 18 people.

The living area is decorated with Persian carpets and artwork. There is a working fireplace to sit by, or if you don't like fire, then just enable the central heating. There is a large dining area that is highly suitable for special occasions like Christmas or NY. The kitchen is old-fashioned with a lot of classical furniture and a large stone surface. It does give you that Downton Abby feeling and it has a certain charm. It’s also a great place for your pet to stay.

The bedrooms are, as you probably expected, also in Georgian style with four-poster beds. There are also box spring beds available if you have a more sensitive back. You’ll find more Persian carpets in the interior and beautiful high windows. The bathrooms however are modern and you’ll get to enjoy luxurious baths or showers. Edinburgh and Glasgow are a short drive away and you can use Wallace House as a base of operations for your holiday. There is a lot to do in Scotland!
