An open jaw is where you arrive at one airport(FEB 4 2024)to let's just say Oslo Norway and return from Helsinki, Finland (Feb 19th) back to Boston, rather than returning from Oslo.

In this example you are scoring 2 destinations for $15 less in airfare cost than it was for just Oslo or Helsinki was round trip.
