If you are doing Free Independent Traveler (FIT) need to go to these places with a photocopy of your passport and three pics of Passport size photos. And it will cost 3000 rupees for a Permit and $20 for a TIMS card.

And joining with the trekking companies they will manage your permit and TIMS Card (Trekking Information Management System)

How to start this trek

At first, depending on where you want to start the trek. From Kathmandu need to drive or fly to Pokhara and spend an overnight and then drive to Birethanti. Again if you are in Pokhara take a bus, jeep, taxi, or private vehicle.
