British Airways announced today they will launch a new daily route between London's Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Florence Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola (FLR) starting in the spring of 2023.

BA is set to launch the new daily flight from London Heathrow's Terminal 5 starting April 16th, 2023. The flight will depart at 07:50 and will be operated by an A320Neo aircraft, one of the most advanced planes in the air. 

The majestic city of Florence is situated in the heart of Italy and is widely regarded as being one of the most vital cultural hubs in all of Europe. British Airways has announced plans to offer flights from London Heathrow to 11 Italian cities in Summer 2023, including Florence, Rome, Milan, Venice and Naples. This expansion marks a significant increase in the number of destinations served by the airline in Italy and is sure to provide travelers with more choices and opportunities than ever before.

The London/Florence route is part of a larger expansion of routes from London's airports, which includes Gatwick to Aruba and Guyana as well as Heathrow to Cincinnati, Ohio.
