The building that now houses the Pennington Inn was constructed in the early 20th century. Through the decades, it has been home to various businesses while retaining its rich historical significance.

Our Experience at Pennington Inn 

We parked right outside the building at a free parking spot. Our keyless entry into the building was seamless via the code provided after booking.

Note that there is no traditional check-in like you would expect at a regular hotel. We would compare the check-in process to that of a vacation rental property, where instructions have previously been relayed to you via text or email. 

Once inside, we were struck by how serene the space was. The entry area that boasts floor-to-ceiling windows is well-lit and is a shared space for all inn guests. It features a cozy couch and another seating area with armchairs. The carefully crafted decor and furnishings were designed to evoke a deep sense of serenity and relaxation. 

As we stepped away front the common area to our room, we were greeted by a blend of timeless elegance and modern comfort. From the meticulously restored historic architecture to the modern amenities and comforts, every aspect of this travel gem has been carefully crafted to create a truly memorable experience.

Our keyless access to our room was again via a code. The room was pristine, beautifully designed, and decorated with warm tones. The space was well thought out and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 

In-room amenities included a plush king-sized bed, a fresh flower arrangement, ample closet and luggage storage space, a complimentary bottle of wine from a local winery,  a uniquely eclectic mix of luxurious and rustic decor, and a modern bathroom with complimentary toiletries.

We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and charm of the Pennington Inn. It certainly etched a memorable notch to our Oklahoma travel adventures!

The stars of this three-room inn are The Blue, The Refuge, and Good Springs rooms. We had the pleasure of staying in their Blue Room.

• The maximum capacity per room is two people.

• You will be charged the full amount for the stay at the time of booking. 
• Reservation cancellations with a full refund are available up to 48 hours in advance of your stay. 
• The maximum length of consecutive nights you can stay at the property is 7 nights.

Check-in and Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.

You will have access to keyless entry into the building via a code that you will enter at both the front and your room doors.

Our experience: We had no issues with parking during our stay. We always found a parking spot right in front of the building.

How to Get to Pennington Inn 

Drive to Tishomingo Oklahoma

For road trippers, Tishomingo is approximately a 2-hour drive from both Oklahoma City, OK, and Dallas, TX

Our experience: Since we are based in Dallas, driving to Tishomingo was our best option. We utilized a fuel-efficient rental car that helped keep our transportation costs minimal. 

Fly, Then Drive

For travelers from afar, you can fly into Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers Airport. Alternatively, you can fly into Dallas because of Oklahoma’s proximity to Dallas, TX. Note that Dallas is served by Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field Airport. 

Once in either Dallas or Oklahoma City, you can get a rental car and drive to downtown Tishomingo
