Foreign guests are required to present a letter of entry and a valid passport when boarding/trains. So Korean tourists need to send us a scanned copy of a valid passport and visa 30 days in advance before entering Tibet (in the case of a non – “L visa”, in addition to providing a passport and visa, you need proof of work or an invitation letter). Under normal circumstances, the letter of entry can be processed 7-10 days in advance.
If you take the Qinghai-Tibet train to Tibet, we will send a scanned copy of the letter to your mailbox, you just need to print out the letter before getting on the train, with a copy of the letter to get on the train.
If you enter Tibet by plane, we will send the original letter in advance to the domestic city where you travel by plane and deliver it to you.

From Nepal to Tibet
