A Magic Kingdom favorite is back for the first time in forever! In case you missed it, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade returned on March 9, 2022. This beloved Walt Disney World parade features state-of-the-art floats, original music, and some of your favorite Disney characters. It starts in Frontierland, then passes through Liberty Square, circles around the Cinderella Castle hub, and ends on Main Street U.S.A. near the train station. Catch Disney Festival of Fantasy at 12 PM and 3 PM daily at the Magic Kingdom. With the recent return of this parade, we’re sharing some top tips for enjoying the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade!
Arrive Early
If you have a special parade viewing spot in mind, we suggest arriving there early to secure it before the parade rolls out. Keep an eye on the two parade times for Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade during your Magic Kingdom day and plan to arrive at least before the start.
Pro Tip: Bring snacks to help pass the time while you want the parade to reach you!
Castle Views
Which angles are best to watch the Disney Festival of Fantasy parade? While you really can’t go wrong when it comes to scoping out a spot for this parade, the most favored view by far is one facing Cinderella Castle. There’s something magical about watching these state-of-the-art floats with a park icon backdrop! Securing a spot that’s facing the castle around the hub or on top of the train station will lead to picture-perfect views.
Back To Attractions
If you aren’t picky about parade views and would rather watch and then get back to the attractions, we suggest watching Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade from Frontierland. Since the parade passes through here first, you’ll be able to break away from the crowds early on and get back to the Magic Kingdom attractions.
Disability Access Service
Did you know there’s a parade viewing area for Disability Access Service (DAS) guests? This area is found in Liberty Square across from the Hall of Presidents. If you or someone in your party is eligible for DAS, this area is a great option for parade viewing with ease. For help finding the DAS section for other parades and fireworks shows, feel free to ask a Cast Member.
