The WA invitation round are sent out each month. The number of applications received by WA Migration Services will determine how many invites are sent each month. Let’s take a closer look at Western Australia’s invitation round issued on 16 December 2022.

The Selection Process for the WA Invitation Round

Several expressions of interest (or “EOIs”) are chosen from SkillSelect each month and invited to apply for State nomination.

If you are selected or nominated, you will be informed through an email by the WA Migration Services. In this email, you will also find a link to the application form for the State nomination. But if you want to apply, the first step is your state or territory government nomination. Applicants for skilled visas must be nominated by a state or territory government.

The applicants must satisfy all the conditions the Department of Home Affairs set forth for the nominated visa and WA requirements for state nomination to qualify for WA nomination.
